Television & Video Production

Erica is armed with an unique alchemy of production expertise. Her project leadership draws on her roots as an on-air reporter, a television news writer and documentary producer. As someone well-versed at producing for digital distribution, she understands that each platform and syndication channel requires nuanced considerations, from storytelling approach to audience optimizing. The one thing that remains consistent amidst an every-evolving television and digital landscape, however: the need for a strong story.

Documentaries

Erica researched, wrote and produced more than 40 storylines for the Emmy-nominated documentary series “Cold Case Files,” which took viewers inside some of the world’s most riveting crime investigations. It aired on A&E and continues to live on in syndication. Erica also did story development work for other pioneering documentary programs such as “American Greed.”


Digital Video Series

Erica served as creator and executive producer of a digital video series called “I AM …” for Donuts Inc. (now known as Identity Digital). These digi-documentaries spotlighted a diverse collection of trailblazing entrepreneurs using a “not-com” domain for their respective businesses’ online brand. Ten businesses were highlighted in less than two years, showcasing creative use of domain extensions such as .coffee, .life, .works and .today. Videos lived on a dedicated YouTube channel and were digitally syndicated.

Social Media Video Shorts

Erica executive produced 30-second, high-energy versions of the “I AM …” digi-documentaries specifically for Instagram, Facebook and mobile syndication. Consumer habits are different on social media platforms: shorter is more impactful, and viewers often watch with the sound off. With this in mind, we repurposed these videos to better appeal to (and perform with) these audiences.

Instructional Videos

Erica executive produced a series of videos starring Tech Expert Katie Linendoll that educated consumers on new-to-market “not-com” domain options. These videos, produced for Donuts Inc. (now known as Identity Digital) were syndicated digitally, targeting the entrprenuer community.
