Girls Night IN: Restore, Reflect + Connect

Take a well-deserved pause for YOU. This monthly “Girls Night” anchored in mindfulness offers a serene and supportive space designed to foster relaxation, reflection and mindful dialogue around a theme relevant to our lives as women.

Participants will experience a guided meditation; time for reflective writing; followed time to share/listen in a circle setting that taps the collective wisdom of women in attendance.

Women have been gathering together since the beginning of time to share stories and find connection. But in this era of increased digital connection and noise, what sort of connection are we truly making with ourselves and each other? Join this in-person experience to get back to basics, uncovering the most authentic version of you while finding support and connection in a community of women. Beginners to meditation and frazzled minds are welcome to join our monthly Girls Night In.

Mindfulness Meditation with Essential Oils

Turn off the technology and welcome time to relax and restore. Participants will experience a gentle, guided meditation complemented by an essential oil specifically chosen for its all-natural, healing benefits. Beginners and frazzled minds are welcome to join. No experience is necessary.

Women's Meditation Circle

“Behind every great woman, there are probably a bunch of other great women.”

Women have been gathering in circles since the beginning of time to share their stories and find connection. With female voices growing stronger and louder, it’s even more important to proactively seek out and celebrate our commonalities. Join Erica Bray, who will weave traditions she’s collected from around the world as a travel journalist into this monthly gathering tethered to a provocative theme. Experience a guided meditation, followed by sacred time to reflect, share, listen and connect. Music, poetry and words of wisdom will accompany the time together. Let’s find strength and empowerment within ourselves and with each other. No meditation experience necessary.

Acupuncture + Meditation: Soothe Your Stress
When:  Sunday, Oct. 21 (2018)
Time:  5-6:30 p.m.
Location:  Chill Meditation + Massage - Chicago's River North

Meditation and acupuncture have the healing capacity to work on the physical, mental and emotional levels – but in combination, the benefits can be even more restorative and energizing. This interactive workshop experience will demystify each with a blend of history and science. Participants will receive light acupuncture in the ears delivered by a licensed acupuncturist before experiencing a guided meditation by a meditation teacher specializing in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Individual aromatherapy will also be offered as a part of the experience. Beginners are welcome.


Blindfold Meditation + Yoga

Turn your vision inward. While wearing a blindfold, experience a slow-moving and supportive yoga practice paired with a guided meditation. With your most relied-upon sense removed, and nobody to “compare” yourself to, you’ll have a unique opportunity to observe, listen and respond with heightened awareness, cultivating mindfulness skills in a truly provocative way. Some yoga experience is recommended. 


Yoga + Meditation with Essential Oils

Enhance your yoga and meditation practice with natural aromas designed to relax and restore. This sweet-smelling practice is for those curious about essential oils. Scientifically proven to work at the cellular level, they work beyond their sweet aromas to foster healing and calm. We’ll integrate several oils into a practice grounded in gratitude, followed by an education and time to experiment with a collection of oils by doTERRA. No yoga or meditation experience is required.
