Erica Bray is a mindfulness teacher committed to transforming our mind-heart-body and social health so that we can better connect with ourselves and, in turn, the world around us.
She produces preventative mind-body classes and programs within the corporate wellness spectrum, having taught employees at progressive global brands such as LinkedIn, Pandora, Pinterest, Leo Burnett, Spotify, J.P. Morgan and Champagne Henriot. She also specializes in working with women who are facing burnout and/or navigating poignant transitional periods in their lives, when alleviating stress can improve the reality as well as the outcome.
Stress is one of the leading causes of most chronic illness, unhealthy habits and compromised mind-body connections. By harnessing ancient wisdom paired with science for modern stress reduction, Erica helps you cultivate deeper mind-heart-body awareness so that you can change your relationship to stress -- to heal, evolve and transform.

A graduate of Northwestern University (B.S., M.S) and yoga-meditation practitioner since 1999, Erica is a certified yoga teacher through Moksha Yoga with more than 1,000 hours of specialized and therapeutic training. She is a qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher through University of Massachusetts Medical School's Center for Mindfulness and has completed wellness coaching training with The Mayo Clinic. In-person studies with renowned teachers such as Jon Kabat-Zinn, Sharon Salzberg, Bob Stahl, Shiva Rea, Seane Corn and Aadil Palkivala have influenced her life and teaching.
The daughter of two OB/GYNs, Erica grew up in an East-meets-West household where meditation was the norm. She knows the positive effects it can have on a Type A personality living an always-on lifestyle. It helped her navigate anxiety during a multifaceted 20-year career as an Emmy-nominated documentary producer, digital media executive and travel journalist, and it helped her remain mentally-emotionally healthy during her own fertility journey.
Following a transformative sabbatical across Nepal, India, Thailand, Bali and China to study with diverse yoga and meditation teachers, including time at ashram, Erica decided to transition out of corporate work, as she (ironically) found herself contributing to the creation of digital noise partially responsible for accelerating our collective stress. Having moonlighted as a yoga and meditation teacher while juggling these corporate demands, Erica ultimately followed her heart into wellness full-time. By helping the frazzled tap into their unique inner wisdom, Erica guides them to optimal wellness in a healthy, meaningful and mindful way.
Erica also speaks regularly on panels for Fertility Centers of Illinois; is a certified Worksite Wellness Specialist through the National Wellness Institute; has served as a counselor at Soul Camp, mind-body multi-night camp for adults; has taught at Northwestern University and DePaul University; and has been published by TIME, Yahoo, Frommer's Travel, Orbitz and Thrive Global.
In her free time, Erica enjoys sampling fine wines her husband Ryan, planning travel adventures and practicing handstands around the world.
